Apprentice Bakers

Bakers Delight Belmont Forum is seeking an apprentice to join our team.

This position is suited to a local school leaver who has a passion for baking.

At Bakers Delight, our Apprentice Bakers are responsible for:

• Baking and presenting quality product to meet changing customer needs

• Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bakery

• Providing delightful customer service when required

• Assisting with stock control and production expenses

To be considered for this 'roll', you will need to:

• Have a passion for baking

• Be willing to enter into an apprenticeship, or demonstrate successful completion of prior learning modules, if already undertaking an apprenticeship

• Be a morning person Some shifts commence from 2am

• Have a positive attitude, love working in a team environment and learning new skills

• Be prepared to work hard and love getting your hands dirty

• Be available to work a 7 day rotating roster.

• Have basic literacy and numeracy skills

*To be eligible for an Australian Apprenticeship you must be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident. Apprentices will receive formal training and support from day one.

Due to the early nature of the job, a driver's license is highly recommended.
