- M&A Tax Integration: Develop and execute post-acquisition tax integration plans, ensuring seamless incorporation of acquired businesses into the WiseTech ecosystem. Align processes with internal teams, external advisers, and regulatory frameworks while supporting the finance integration team on tax effect accounting impacts.
- Tax Structuring & Entity Rationalisation: Implement strategies to streamline legal entities within the group, balancing tax, legal, finance, and operational considerations. Evaluate optimal tax structures, coordinate with tax and legal advisers, communicate complex tax laws, and manage entity dissolutions, mergers, and asset transfers.
- Project Management & Technical Analysis: Collaborate with commercial, legal, and finance teams to develop tax-efficient structures. Conduct research on international tax regulations, prepare technical documentation, and mentor junior team members.
- Process Improvement: Enhance tax processes across compliance, finance, and legal functions. Contribute to tax policy development and support audits, investigations, and global tax authority reviews.
