Standalone Payroll Officer for a growing company in North Sydney

Your new company

This organisation provides services and solutions to their clients within the retail, education, health and hospitality industries. They are seeking a permanent standalone payroll officer to run their payroll function.

Your new role

In this role, you will:

  • Process end-to-end payroll, including superannuation, tax, and various entitlements on time
  • Manage backpays and terminations, timesheets and leave requests
  • Interpret and apply relevant Awards and EA's
  • Provide payroll support to staff and relevant stakeholders; answer all queries
  • Maintain employee records and ensure all details are accurate and up-to-date

What you'll need to succeed

  • Demonstrated full function payroll experience - standalone is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of relevant Australian payroll legislation, laws and Awards
  • Experience with payroll systems
  • Be detail-oriented and autonomous; ability to work independently
  • Great communication skills; able to answer payroll queries
