Tree Worker needed at a Council

A local council in the Northern part of Sydney is looking for a tree worker to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pruning, maintaining, and caring for public trees across streets, parks, and reserves.
  • Operate and maintain arboriculture equipment including chainsaws, chippers, and elevated work platforms.
  • Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment
  • Support the team in various manual labour tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Certificate in arboriculture is preferred.
  • A white card and truck licence are essential.
  • Knowledge of tree care, pruning standards, and safety procedures.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.
