Job Summary:

The Senior Barber is responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts and grooming services while also providing mentorship to junior barbers, maintaining client satisfaction, and supporting daily shop operations. This role requires leadership, attention to detail, and a strong passion for the barbering industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a full range of barbering services including fades, tapers, scissor cuts, beard trims, and shaves.
  • Consult with clients to understand their grooming needs and preferences.
  • Ensure all services are delivered to the highest professional standards.
  • Mentor and support junior barbers and apprentices.
  • Help maintain cleanliness and presentation of the shop according to hygiene standards.
  • Manage appointments and client flow to minimize wait times.
  • Monitor stock levels and notify management of supply needs.
  • Handle client feedback and resolve any service issues professionally.
  • Promote services, retail products, and shop culture to build clientele.
  • Contribute to social media content and shop promotion.
  • Uphold health and safety protocols at all times.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional barbering experience.
  • Certificate III in Barbering or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong technical skills in all modern and classic haircutting techniques.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Punctual, reliable, and professional attitude.
