Trangie Central School has an enrolment of 172 students, ranging from kindergarten to Year 12, with 48% of students identifying as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. The school is located 72 km west of Dubbo, with agriculture being one of the main local industries.

1. Approval to teach Stage 6 Biology and Chemistry.

2. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive working relationships with students, staff and parents to improve student learning outcomes

3. Capacity to implement effective classroom management strategies and contribute to differentiated teaching and learning programs to maximise student growth and promote high expectations for all students.

4. Ability to initiate innovative programs, such as STEM and enrichment programs, that are inclusive of a Central School environment.

5. Commitment to the Department of Education's Aboriginal Education policies

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
