About the Role
PRG Corporate Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our Workshop / Maintenance team based in Wiluna, WA. This full-time position is responsible for performing high-quality maintenance, servicing, and repairs on light vehicles to ensure they meet manufacturer and safety standards.
You'll play a key role in keeping our fleet operating safely and efficiently while working within a supportive team environment that values safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in petrol and diesel vehicles using diagnostic equipment and test drives.
- Conduct scheduled servicing, repairs, and replacements on engines, brakes, steering, suspension, and cooling systems.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Keep workshop tools, equipment, and work areas clean and well-organised.
- Report hazards, defects, and incidents promptly.
- Assist in training apprentices or trainees when required.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment through adherence to PRG Corporate and client policies.
About You
Required:
- Proven experience in light vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repair.
- Strong knowledge of petrol and diesel systems, transmissions, brakes, and suspension.
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools and mechanical equipment safely.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills for completing job cards and reports.
Desired:
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent trade qualification).
- Experience with vehicle electronics, computerised diagnostics, or hybrid/electric systems.
- Previous experience in a dealership or large workshop setting.
Licences & Requirements
- Current Australian 'C' Class Driver's Licence (not on probation).
- Ability to complete site or client-specific inductions and safety training as required.
