Established in 1912, d'Arenberg is one of the most significant wineries in the McLaren Vale region. Famous for an eclectic portfolio of oddly named wines and a bold red stripe that adorns each bottle, our range is considerable and can be found in over 80 countries worldwide.

We are also home to the highly acclaimed d'Arenberg Cube which is one of the most well-known tourist attractions in South Australia, with multiple experiences on offer.  Having 360 degree views overlooking d'Arenberg's vineyards, the building is a five story architectural puzzle, carefully designed to entice and excite the senses of our visitors with a plethora of interactive experiences.

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter, who enjoys a diversified hands-on role enabling you to utilize your technical skills and expertise across a broad range of equipment.

Core responsibilities :

Provide efficient preventative and breakdown maintenance

Project work as required

Diagnose, repair and resolve mechanical faults

Minor plumbing and welding repairs and installations

Emergency maintenance to restore functionality

Breakdown response call outs throughout Vintage (roster system)

Refurbishments and modifications of plant and equipment

Maintain records on maintenance and repair

Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures

Ensure work is performed in compliance with WHS regulations

Essential Experience :

Trade Qualification – Mechanical Fitter

Forklift High Risk licence

Welding knowledge

General mechanical experience

Desirable qualifications :

Wine Industry experience

Electrical proficiency

General plumbing

Elevated Work Platform

Working at Heights
