Where you'll be working
  • MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • At least two years working as a Medical Officer, completing a Paediatric rotation is preferable
  • Demonstrated commitment to pursuing a career pathway involving paediatric medicine. This may include previous clinical paediatric experience, completion of or plan to undertake any courses in paediatric medical care.
  • Ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in taking comprehensive patient histories, performing clinical examinations and accurately documenting in patient records.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the appropriate management of the patient.
  • Ability to demonstrate accurate decision-making and to seek further advice in accordance with level of experience and showing an awareness of limitations.
  • Proven ability to organise, plan and manage competing tasks
