Hastings Deering is on the hunt for a Laboratory Administrator to join our award-winning team at our world class laboratory in Archerfield, Brisbane. This is a 12-month fixed term, Monday to Friday role.

As a Laboratory Administrator you will:

  • Undertake data entry and ensure it is performed accurately and timely

  • Handle customer enquires in a professional and efficient manner.

  • Prepare reports as directed for distribution

  • Accurate customer invoicing in a timely manner

  • Manage the flow of incoming and outgoing correspondence and initiate follow up actions where necessary

  • Perform general administration tasks, e.g. mailing, scanning, laminating, binding, stock control

  • Achieve daily goals

  • Occasional laboratory assistance

About You

A successful teammate will have experience in:  

  • Strong administrative capability

  • Full working rights in Australia

  • Ability to multitask

  • Completion of year 12

  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite

  • Strong attention to detail
