About the role

Yamba Private Clinic is seeking a part-time General Practice Nurse to join our dedicated team and new Doctor starting In October 2025. As a General Practice Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting our doctors and providing comprehensive nursing care to our patients. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare within our growing private practice.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing nursing care, including administering medications, dressings, and immunisations
  • Assisting with minor medical procedures and treatments
  • Conducting patient assessments, triage, and health education
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with medical protocols
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
  • Maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment
  • Participating in continuous professional development to enhance nursing knowledge and skills

What we're looking for

  • Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration
  • Experience in a general practice is preferred
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based nursing practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and the healthcare team
  • Proficient in using medical software and technology to support patient care
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
