We are seeking a Full-Time Accounts Assistant to join our Canberra team.  This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to supporting financial operations in a busy legal services environment.

Salary is commensurate with experience and is exclusive of superannuation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and distribute daily practice overview reports
  • Enter and maintain financial data in accounting systems
  • Perform weekly bank reconciliations
  • Manage and update spreadsheets for various purposes
  • Assist with accounts payable processing, including credit card reconciliations
  • Provide support for payroll processing
  • Work as a team to ensure smooth financial workflow

About You
  • Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong proficiency with Excel and data entry
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience with accounts payable and payroll systems will be highly regarded
