Serco, in partnership with the Australian Defence Force, is seeking dedicated General Practitioners (GPs) to support the health and wellbeing of serving personnel across our Defence bases around Australia.

About the Role

In this role, you will provide high-quality primary healthcare services to Australian Defence Force personnel, working alongside a committed team of nurses, allied health professionals, and Defence staff. This is a unique opportunity to combine your medical expertise with a role that supports those who serve our nation.

Locations

We have opportunities across multiple Defence bases Australia-wide – from metro hubs to regional centres. Choose to settle in one location or take advantage of travel and locum opportunities.

Who We're Looking For

  • Unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) OR, Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) OR Vocational Registration.
  • Minimum of 2 years full-time post graduate general practitioner experience in a general practice setting within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent).
  • Australian Citizenship (essential for Defence health contracts)
