Nelson St Medical & Dental Centre is seeking our next star General Practitioner (GP) to join our dynamic and supportive team in Fairfield

Your Role

As a General Practitioner at Nelson St Medical & Dental Centre, you will:

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients across all ages and backgrounds
  • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
  • Manage both chronic and acute conditions in a supportive team environment
  • Collaborate with allied health professionals to deliver holistic patient care
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of our patient-center care model

About You

Essential Criteria:

  • Empathy, professionalism, and a genuine passion for helping others
  • Current AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
  • Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM (preferred)
  • Medicare provider number (or eligibility to obtain one)
  • Excellent clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Current Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Full work rights in Australia
  • Up-to-date vaccinations (including COVID-19)

Desirable:

  • Experience or special interest in pediatrics, geriatrics, mental health, or chronic disease management
  • Knowledge of NDIS and disability healthcare (advantageous)
