About the role

As a Gaming Supervisor/Attendant at The Settlement Hotel in Cranbourne VIC 3977, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the gaming floor during the afternoon and graveyard shifts. This is a hands-on role that plays a crucial part in delivering an engaging and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Position: Part Time/Full Time

Location: The Settlement Hotel, Cranbourne

Availability: Morning, Afternoon & graveyard shifts across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays

Roster: 7-day rotating roster

Hours: Approx. 30+ hours per week (flexibility essential), 4 shifts a week

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and assisting customers in the gaming area, ensuring their needs are met in a friendly and professional manner
  • Monitoring gaming machines to maintain efficiency and address any issues or malfunctions promptly
  • Providing information and guidance to customers on gaming rules, regulations and promotions
  • Performing cash handling duties, such as pay-outs, hopper refills and balancing floats
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised gaming environment
  • Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements
  • Supporting the gaming team in other duties as required

What we're looking for

  • Experience in a customer service or gaming role, preferably within the hospitality or gaming industry
  • Minimum 1+ years of customer service or gaming experience required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately with numbers
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including afternoons, evenings and weekends
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and responsible gaming environment
  • A current Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG) certificate
  • RSG certificate must be obtained within the first month of employment if not already held
  • RSG certification must be obtained within the first month of employment
  • Knowledge of System One and clearance is an advantage
  • Australian work rights are required for this position
  • Valid Australian work visa or equivalent legal authorisation to work in Australia is required
