About the role

We're seeking a Server Engineer to join our team in Darwin on a permanent basis to maintain and monitor business infrastructure and systems. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited too; Service Requests, Severity 2 and 3 Incidents and Incident response times to name a few.

Skills & Experience

Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Skype for Business, VMware suite, Microsoft System Centre suite (SCCM and SCOM) and various other software applicationsTroubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience designing, implementing and/or administering infrastructure platform solutions using VMware vSphere.Understanding IT Service Management conceptsDesigning, implementing and/or administering storage solutions using SAN technologies.Working with complex networking solutions on physical and/or virtualised platforms.Ability to apply ITIL v3 Foundation concepts within the workplace.

Responsibilities include

Planning, design, configuration, maintenance, and support of server infrastructure Manges a Microsoft exchange serverSetting up of user accounts and mailboxes along with backup, security, and restoring the filesPerform routine server maintenanceWindows Server Administration and DNSPrint Management encompassing Print Server, Print Queue, and Printer AdministrationServer Builds/Management, as well as Storage ManagementIdentify and diagnose errors and resolve these logically in a short time frame Resolving complex hardware and software toolsConsiderable experience with MS Server security management and operations and patch automation using Enterprise patching too
