We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor to join the Michael Hill Group's Customer Service Team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional service to our valued customers. While the role is advertised as full-time, we are also open to considering part-time options, provided that two individuals can cover opposite shifts to ensure comprehensive coverage.

Joining our dynamic team as a Customer Service Advisor, you'll work under the guidance of the Customer Service Team Leader to deliver exceptional service across various channels. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, utilising multiple systems to ensure seamless customer interactions and satisfaction.

  • Effectively represent and embody the ethos and values of the Michael Hill group
  • Use initiative to ensure customer queries and complaints are handled promptly and effectively in line with company guidelines
  • Record and resolve all customer interactions, noting solutions to complaints and queries
  • Maintain open communication within the team and with other internal stakeholders
  • Comply with company policies and best practices in data security, emphasising the protection of sensitive customer information
  • Enjoy flexible work arrangements tailored to suit individual preferences, including on-site and hybrid options. While primarily Monday-Friday, this position requires flexibility and occasional weekend coverage, ensuring a balanced approach to work-life integration

  • 2+ years experience in a retail store or contact centre environment
  • Clear and professional communication skills with a customer and service-focused approach
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset
  • Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Technology savvy, able to work with multiple systems simultaneously
  • Team player with confidence and professionalism, adaptable and resilient
