Our Client is a leading Civil and Concreting company that specialises across the mining, resources, civil and commercial industries with projects running throughout Perth and regional Western Australia.

Due to project requirements, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background across civil and bridge infrastructure projects to join their team on a permanent basis in Perth with some site based work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the project team in planning, scheduling, and delivering works to meet client deadlines.
  • Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and safety to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and resources to achieve efficient project outcomes.
  • Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and services in line with budget and timelines.
  • Conduct site inspections, track progress, and provide accurate reports to management and clients.
  • Maintain quality and HSEQ documentation, ensuring standards are consistently met.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues with practical solutions.
  • Contribute technical expertise and input to project designs, variations, and tender submissions.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in civil infrastructure (bridges, drainage, road formation preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques and design interpretation
  • Experience in estimating, tendering, and project document management systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office and engineering software
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence and OHS White Card
