Role Description

This is a casual on-site role for adult Pool Lifeguards at Belgravia Leisure located in Murrumba Downs, QLD. The Pool Lifeguard will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all pool users, monitoring pool and surrounding areas, enforcing pool rules and regulations, and providing emergency care if necessary. Daily tasks also include maintaining cleanliness and general upkeep of the pool area, conducting water quality tests, and assisting with customer service as needed. Our lifeguards also operate as our Customer Service team responsible for memberships, customer relations and point of sale.

Qualifications

• Strong swimming skills and physical fitness
• Knowledge of water rescue techniques and CPR
• Ability to enforce safety rules and handle emergency situations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR (or willing to obtain)
• Experience in a similar role is an advantage
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
