Salesperson – Residential, Golf, Turf & Compact Equipment Specialist
A well-established Tasmania-wide dealership is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Salesperson to join their team. This role specialises in selling new and used compact utility vehicles, gators, golf and turf equipment, and motorsport products such as 4-wheel motorbikes and side-by-sides.
Based in Longford with travel across Tasmania, this full-time role offers variety, customer interaction, and the opportunity to work with a dynamic product range including motorsport vehicles. Competitive salary, commission, and professional development on offer.
About the RoleYou'll be the key contact for customers purchasing residential and commercial equipment, providing expert product knowledge and delivering outstanding service throughout the sales process. This includes product demonstrations, delivery coordination, and post-sale support. Primarily based in the Longford showroom, you will travel across Tasmania as required. Could be based in the north or south.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the dealership in the sale of residential and commercial equipment
- Maintain strong customer relationships and follow-up systems to encourage repeat business
- Deliver sold equipment and provide safety and operational training
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth sales and delivery processes
- Assist with customer events and showroom presentation
- Adhere to dealership policies and finance procedures
What You'll Bring
- Knowledge of commercial mowing and residential ground care equipment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work rostered Saturdays during peak seasons
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quoting systems
- Current motor vehicle licence
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development
