We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art facilities, dedicated team, and patient-centered approach. We're looking for a motivated, experienced nurse with a strong background in leadership and emergency care to work closely with the Business Manager, Veterinary Director, GP Head Nurse and GP Veterinary Team Leader.

What you'll be doing each day;

  • Managing a team of Emergency Vet Nurses
  • Supporting our busy Emergency Vet teams
  • Guiding and developing the Vet Nurse teams, building a positive team culture 
  • Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
  • Performing minor procedures when required

What you'll bring;

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience working as a vet nurse
  • ECC nursing experience
  • Confidence in working within a busy hospital setting
  • Team building skills with previous experience leading and/or mentoring a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Availability to work every second weekend advantageous
