Sycamore Health has been established in the north of Brisbane since 2015 delivering great healthcare with a helping hand of good banter and teamwork. With have clinics in Morayfield and Sippy Downs, and are in need of a new team member to fill outstanding positions.

We are looking for an experienced practitioner. The role is flexible, with ample team support as well as significant opportunity for autonomy. We want you maintain the flexible work-life balance.

For experienced physiotherapists, we are seeking diverse skill sets on top of your excellent musculoskeletal skills (such as sports, vestibular, gender health, neurological or occupational health/screening). Sycamore Health has a predominately musculoskeletal and gender health patient cohort.

New graduates are welcome to apply, and consideration may be made for the outstanding candidate.

Treatment Styles

For our MSK offering, we have always been strong advocates of exercise-based rehabilitation. Our Sippy Downs location features a large 130m2 rehabilitation gym and 8 beautifully appointed and spacious private treatment rooms. The Morayfield location has a traditional in-clinic rehabilitation gym spanning 40m2 with 5 adjoining and well-equipped private treatment rooms.

Physiotherapy at Sycamore Health is agile and modern, attentive to the latest evidence-base for treatment. Our practitioners are involved in continuing education, including regular appointments for lecturing at local universities.

We also have flexibile treating arrangements, so your patients can get the right care they need. We visit the local hydrotherapy pools, commercial gyms, patient worksites, sporting clubs, and have previously run exercise-based interventions in the community (e.g. park run, glasshouse mountain climbs, etc.).

Working environment

We form contract agreements that suit you (salaried employee, contractor billings, or incentive-structures). We are negotiable on days and hours of work. We inservice regularly, both formally and informally, and always foster inter-discplinary learning. We are always looking for new ways to develop skillsets and hone practice. We are almost 100% digital and notewriting is available on portable devices, meaning you can write as you go in any environment. We're also obsessed with coffee; unashamedly so, with barista-grade machinery at both our clinics for you to appease the caffiene hit

Although this job is predominately for Morayfield, we may at times require cover (i.e., annual leave) at the Sippy Downs clinic. The ideal canditate is a team player and is willing to work across both clinics if required.

The ideal candidate

• A people-focused physiotherapist who complements the multidisciplinary team at Sycamore Health
• Any specialising or diversity in your MSK training (such as gender health, pelvic floor, TMJ, vestibular, sporting injuries, paediatric, FCE, etc.)
• You are willing and motivated to grow your patient caseload and integrate with local referrers
• You will preferably live within a 45 minute commute of the Morayfield area (no-one likes a long drive home)
• You will place a high value on continuing professional development and engaging with the literature
• You are motivated in your personal life regarding health and fitness ("walk the talk")
• You are familiar with practice management systems such as Cliniko, Nookal, Gensolve, PPMP, and have adequate computer processing skills
