What you'll be doing?
  • Install and maintain security hardware: Execute high-quality installations, repairs, and maintenance of commercial and domestic security hardware, including electronic systems.
  • Key management: Cut and issue keys (domestic and restricted) and design keying systems to meet client needs.
  • Service door hardware: Maintain and repair various door hardware including door closers, digital locks, and safes.
  • Perform carpentry work: Conduct carpentry repairs to doors and carry out necessary hardware modifications.
  • Ensure compliance: Adhere to building codes and conduct fire door inspections and installations to maintain safety standards.
  • Client consultation: Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide accurate cost and time estimates for projects.
Who are they looking for?
  • Australian work rights: Full Australian working rights or permanent residency is essential for this position.
  • Locksmith experience: A minimum of 4 years of qualified locksmith experience is required to excel in this role.
  • Security license: Relevant security licenses are essential to perform the job duties effectively.
  • Valid driver's license: A current Australian driver's license is necessary for this mobile role.
  • Team player: Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail: Capable of accurately completing paperwork in a timely manner.
