We are seeking a Licensed Electrician to join our team. The position offers exposure to a broad range of electrical and associated civil works, with the opportunity to represent a respected local business and build a long-term career.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking residential, Level 2, and civil electrical works. This includes installation, repair, fault finding, and maintenance across a variety of sites. The role requires the ability to work independently, meet compliance standards, and maintain a professional approach to client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Power-point and lighting installations
- Switchboard upgrades and replacements
- Fault finding and emergency call-outs
- Consumer mains installations and upgrades (Level 2)
- Service and defect rectifications
- General residential wiring and maintenance
- Civil works, including trenching, conduit installation, and underground cabling
- Pole installations and replacements (private and supply authority compliant)
- Liaising with supply authorities and ensuring compliance with NSW Service & Installation Rules
- Site safety management and adherence to WHS requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Current NSW Electrical Licence
- Experience in residential maintenance and Level 2 works
- Knowledge of civil works, excavation, or underground services (preferred but not essential)
- Strong focus on compliance, safety, and quality assurance
- Ability to manage tasks independently as well as within a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Professional presentation and reliability
- Sales or client advisory skills will be viewed favourably
