The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Motor Mechanic to join our growing team and take a leadership role in our light vehicle repair operations. This full-time role is vital to maintaining our service quality and meeting the increasing demand from both private and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of mechanics, fostering a collaborative and skilled workshop environment
  • Perform and supervise complex diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on light vehicles
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations
  • Manage workshop operations, including budgeting, inventory control, and supplier coordination
  • Communicate with clients about vehicle issues, repair options, and service updates
  • Implement training and development programs for junior staff
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging automotive technologies and repair techniques
  • Support the expansion into heavy vehicle servicing and vehicle painting initiatives

About You

  • Proven experience as a motor mechanic with leadership or senior-level responsibilities
  • Strong technical skills in diagnostics, brake and transmission systems, and general servicing
  • Ability to work independently and handle complex repair tasks efficiently
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and workshop best practices
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Relevant trade qualifications in automotive mechanical technology
