The Role:
Roadworx is seeking to expand its current capabilities within its Stabilising business based at Unanderra. As such, we are seeking a Stabilising Foreman. If successful, you will be responsible for an established crew, and for the safe and timely delivery of pavement stabilising works. You will work with an experienced crew to deliver works for local councils and civil contractors. You will work with the Stabilising Operations Manager to plan and deliver works. A strong team player attitude is essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate must be willing to work in a positive team environment. Roadworx has a serious approach to safety, and a strong commitment to safety and the environment. We require candidates who are willing to work within a multi skilled role, willing to step outside the comfort zone and challenge yourself.
Essential Skills:
- Current Driver Licence.
- White card.
- Experience leading a civil crew, preferably with pavements.
- You will be physically fit.
- You will have the ability to work on own initiative and be able to work without supervision as well as within a team.
- Detail orientated.
- Good communication skills.
- Two references from a previous employer.
Optional Skills:
- VOCs in Plant Operation.
- Certificate in Construction related field.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years directly related experience required in the construction industry.
- Minimum 2 years working in supervisory roles within the construction industry.
Physical Environment:
- Frequent ability to lift or move up to 20kg throughout a shift and spend prolonged periods on your feet.
- Frequent ability to sit, climb, reach, and bend throughout a shift.
- Ability to pass a physical on annual basis, including a drug screen.
- Ability to work in outdoor construction environments, with moderate noise levels.
