About the Role

We're looking for a Construction Landscaper (Cert III in Landscape Construction or equivalent experience) to join our team full time/contractor.

You'll work across diverse projects — from stone and timber retaining walls and concreting to decking, drainage and patios — helping bring creative outdoor visions to life.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Read and interpret site plans, setting out landscape construction works with accuracy
  • Build and install retaining walls, paving, concreting, turfing, planting, drainage, fencing, and decking
  • Operate, service, and maintain tools, machinery, and work vehicles to ensure safety and reliability
  • Keep vehicles, signage, and equipment clean, organised, stocked, and ready for daily use
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations — and lead by example to ensure others do too
  • Track staff punctuality and attendance at daily morning meetings, promoting team accountability
  • Work independently and take initiative on-site to meet project deadlines and quality standards
  • Demonstrate leadership in planning, safety, and communication to maintain a positive, efficient site
  • Take pride in your work — ensuring every project reflects Fire & Stone Landscape Constructions' quality and professionalism
What We're Looking For

It is desirable that you also have:

  • Minimum 3 years of landscape construction or related building trade experience, or Cert III in Landscape Construction will be highly regarded.
  • Experience operating excavators, bobcats, or other landscaping machinery (training provided for specific equipment)
  • Australian work rights (citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa)

  • Current driver's licence and construction white card

  • Strong site skills: measurements, levels, stone/timber/plant selection

  • Proven ability to work safely, manage time, and lead by example
  • Attention to detail and pride in presentation — from job sites to vehicles
  • A team player who communicates well and supports positive site culture

A quick note: This is active, outdoor work — ideal for those who enjoy staying fit and building with purpose. We value practical experience in construction landscaping or labouring and welcome people who take pride in a hard day's work done well.

Ability to lift 25kg regularly, work in all weather conditions, and stand/walk for extended periods is required.
