Teacher of Mathematics

The School has a vibrant boarding, academic, cultural and sporting program that extends across the full year and two campuses.

The Southport School is now seeking a Permanent Full-Time Teacher of Mathematics to join our team commencing Term 4, 2025. Experience in teaching middle school Mathematics (Years 8 & 9) and Year 10 Mathematics Methods highly regarded.

We would like to work with and support candidates who have a passion for boys' education and who understand how to engage students through their innovative and student focused teaching practices.

In support of our School values of Teamwork, Scholarship, and Service, we would like to engage with candidates who are relational in their teaching style whilst still ensuring a strong academic ethos in their classroom. Additionally, we encourage our team to engage with our community outside of the classroom through our diverse co-curricular and extra-curricular programs including working closely with our Boarding community.

• Detail recent Mathematics teaching experience
• Demonstrate their current use and integration of technology across the curriculum,
• Discuss innovative teaching practices, and
• Articulate proposed involvement in the school community through co-curricular or extra-curricular interests
