What you'll achieveAs an Analyst programmer at Dedalus you will be part of our highly successful webPAS application development team, utilising your skills in the development and enhancement of our market leading patient management software used in hospitals throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Working with an extended highly skilled team, you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.
Key functions of this role include,
- Interpretation and evaluation of functional specifications and subsequent translation into application technical designs and coding
- Development of high-quality application software in line with defined specifications, standards and workflow processes
- Assisting Support and Implementation Engineers with investigation and resolution of client issues as required
- Assisting test analysts during testing of scheduled and unscheduled releases as required
- Undertaking assigned enhancements or defect tasks with the aim of resolving/completing them in a timely and effective manner
- Tertiary level qualifications in IT, or corresponding industry experience
- 4-5 years of experience in HL7 (V2 MLLP) & FHIR Messaging
- Experience with HTML
- Experience with Javascript
- Highly proficient in written and verbal communications
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in a linux environment (vi editor)
- Experience with Oracle, CISAM or SQL Server
- Experience working with 3GL
- Experience in working with an Agile Software Development Methodology
- Experience with PHP
