Our client URGENTLY requires a Senior Information Security Analyst & Local Security Officer for a permanent role in Sydney.

The Senior Information Security Analyst will be part of the team that is responsible for developing and enforcing security policies, managing incident response, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting business operations across all regions. You will lead investigations into security incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery, provide hands-on expertise in digital forensics and malware analysis if appropriate, and liaise with London-based CISO and Information Security team. This role combines the responsibilities of a Senior Information Security Analyst with those of the Local Security Officer, a mandatory role for Defence sector work in Australia.

Skills and Experience required include:

  • 4–7 years of dedicated experience in information security, ideally in analyst or administrator roles within medium/large organisations.
  • Proven track record in leading and managing critical security incidents.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM administration and tuning.
  • Experience in security risk assessments and compliance audits.

Must be able to obtain an NV1 security clearance.
