The Opportunity

Join the team at BASS Construction Services & Plant Hire as a Watercart Operator. This casual role is based in Hexham, NSW 2322, and also one available at Singleton and will see you playing a vital part in the company's construction projects.

We currently have 2 roles available

1 x night shift operator at Hexham / Heatherbrae 18:30pm till 05:00am night shift rates apply Monday till Friday

1 x day shift operator at Singleton Bypass. 6:30am till 5:30pm Monday to Friday some Saturdays also available

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and maintain a watercart to provide dust suppression and surface water management on construction sites
  • Ensure the watercart is well-maintained and in good working condition at all times
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures on the construction site
  • Liaise with site supervisors to understand water requirements and prioritise tasks accordingly
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Watercart Operator, ideally within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of water management and dust suppression techniques
  • Excellent safety awareness and the ability to follow site procedures
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Reliable and punctual, with a flexible approach to working hours
  • Hold a valid HR Driver's Licence
  • Hold a construction white card
