About Us

Francis Transport Group is a growing transport company with a supportive, close-knit team. We're seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join us in maintaining and repairing our expanding fleet.

The Role

  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy road transport vehicles
  • Work directly with the Owner-Manager, supported by a workshop labourer
  • Monday–Friday, family-friendly day shifts (with call-out allowance for after-hours)

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 12 months relevant full-time work experience as a Diesel Mechanic
  • Trade qualifications in Automotive Mechanics (Heavy Road Transport highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of Kenworth trucks highly regarded
  • Ability to work independently and safely
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing
