As a Senior Adviser, Teacher Attraction Projects, you'll play a vital role in shaping how the NSW Department of Education attracts and inspires future teachers. In this role you'll support the planning, development and delivery of content relating to campaigns and programs delivered by the Teacher Attraction Initiatives team within the School Workforce Directorate.

About you
You are a strategic and creative communicator who:
Develops and delivers compelling content strategies that engage target audiences and build awareness of initiatives, campaigns and projects.Produces clear, persuasive and purpose-driven copy across owned and earned channels, including web, EDMs, social media and podcasts.Collaborates effectively with stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate complex information into engaging narratives and communications.Has strong attention to detail and time management skills and the ability to plan, implement and evaluate workflows to ensure content projects are delivered on time and on brand.Thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in responding to changing business needs and competing priorities while providing outstanding service to stakeholders and contributing to quality outcomes.Prioritises inclusivity and accessibility, ensuring all content reflects the department's voices and values.Brings experience in optimising digital content for search (SEO) to increase visibility, engagement and reach across key online platforms.Shows confidence in supporting and mentoring colleagues, sharing best practice in storytelling, copywriting and content strategy execution.Essential requirements of the role
Tertiary qualifications and relevant experience in Creative Writing, Communications, Marketing, Public relations or related discipline.Knowledge of and experience in copywriting, promotions, advertising, social media and digital marketing, branding, print media and public relations with the ability to optimise communications for individual channels.Hold a valid Driver Licence (provisional or above) with the ability and willingness to travel interstate and intrastate to meet delivery requirements of campaigns.Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.Benefits
