Join the Macmahon Maintenance Masters (MMM) as an Experienced Underground HD Drill Fitter/Mechanic and be responsible for daily servicing & breakdown repairs on a few cable bolters and work together with other UG Fitters. This role requires expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our underground equipment.

About the role
FIFO from Perth
Flexible rosters - 8:6, 2:1 OR 2:2
Rates up to $90 per hour 
Option of Permanent OR Casual Employment to suit you
Annual loyalty bonus (it gets better every year of service)

About you

•    Proven experience in the repairs and maintenance of heavy earthmoving equipment - specifically has worked on Sandvik Cable Bolters

•    Australian recognised Trade Certificate (Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology)

•    Dedicated commitment to safety and quality assurance

•    Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting / interpretive skills

•    Previous experience in the mining industry or large scale operations 

•    Physically fit for the demands of the role

•    Proven ability to operate in a safe and efficient manner

•    Ability to work independently as well as a part of the team

•    Great interpersonal and communication skills

•    Current C Class MANUAL Drivers Licence is a must
