About the role

Atherton Bakehouse, a local bakery in Atherton QLD 4883, is seeking a part-time Bakers assistant to join their team. In this role, you will assist our experienced bakers in producing a range of high-quality breads, pastries, and other baked goods to our customers.

The position available is a 5 day per week position, shift starts at 5 pm.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the bakers with the preparation, mixing, and portioning of doughs
  • Carefully monitoring the baking process to ensure consistent quality
  • Performing basic cleaning
  • Restocking and organising ingredients and supplies as needed

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a baker's assistant or in a similar role
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently
  • A genuine passion for baking and a desire to learn and grow within the industry
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
