About the role

Maryborough Transport Service, a leading provider of road transport solutions, is seeking experienced HC Truck drivers to join our dynamic team. As an HC Truck driver, you will play a pivotal role in our operations, delivering essential goods and materials across Victoria, NSW, Queensland and South Australia. This is a full-time position based in Maryborough, VIC 3465. Part time and casual work is also available.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operating heavy commercial vehicles, including semi-trailers and rigid trucks, to transport goods to various destinations
  • Complying with all relevant road transport regulations and company policies to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of cargo
  • Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain the roadworthiness of the vehicles
  • Liaising with customers, dispatchers and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
  • Providing exceptional customer service and representing the company in a professional manner
  • Adhering to strict safety protocols and procedures to protect yourself, your cargo and other road users

What we're looking for

  • A valid HC driver's licence with a clean driving record
  • Demonstrated experience in operating heavy commercial vehicles, preferably in a road transport or logistics environment
  • Strong knowledge of road transport regulations and safety practices
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism
  • Strong time management and organisational skills to ensure timely deliveries
