Job Description
We're looking for an Account Director to join our growing Sydney team — a trusted account lead who can nurture strong client relationships, manage programs of work, and guide integrated projects from brief to delivery. You'll be the steady hand our clients rely on, leading complex, purpose-led campaigns across creative, digital, PR, events and audience-specific communications.

About the role
As Account Director, you'll lead meaningful, multi-disciplinary projects across creative, digital, PR, events, strategy and research. You'll act as a trusted partner to your clients — shaping inclusive, respectful and community-informed campaigns, and guiding them from first spark to final delivery.
A natural relationship-builder and strategic thinker, you know how to bring teams together to do their best work. You'll champion best-practice account leadership, foster seamless collaboration across the agency, and help create work that genuinely connects and delivers measurable impact.
While every day will look different, at a high level you will:
- Work across a portfolio of clients and projects to deliver effective and creative communications.
- Establish and lead regular project/client meetings and communications to ensure clients and internal teams are focused, informed and aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Work with the Sydney Director to identify any issues and help solve client and internal challenges
- Mentor junior members of the Client Management team, providing guidance and training to help upskill and progress their career.
- Champion best practice integration across disciplines, demonstrating leadership and initiative by recommending and implementing more effective ways of working.
- Work quickly to identify and solve problems with client relationships and project deliverables.
- Deliver campaigns and communications programs against the agreed strategy ensuring that the strategy is championed throughout the life of the project.
- Help with the delivery of the Client Management team's organisational plan, ensuring the team is delivering on the priorities set each year.
About you
You have:
- 7+ years' experience in account management, ideally within an integrated agency environment
- Proven experience leading client relationships and delivering integrated campaigns across multiple disciplines (creative, digital, PR, events, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and stakeholder management ability
- A positive, solutions-focused mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Strong project, time management and prioritisation skills, with exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to collaborate effectively across teams and work well under pressure
- Knowledge of production processes (desirable)
- Experience working with government clients (an advantage, but not essential)
