Occupational Therapist Team Manager

Full Time | Remote Australia or Sydney Hybrid | Therapy Connect (Part of Humanity Health Group)

Therapy Connect, part of the Humanity Health Group and Australia's leading provider of telehealth therapy services, is experiencing significant growth. We are expanding our Occupational Therapy team to meet increasing client demand and are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a dedicated Team Manager role. Lead and develop a high-performing OT team while maintaining a small clinical caseload.

About the Role

As the Occupational Therapy Team Manager, you'll provide leadership, supervision and coaching to a passionate team of OTs delivering high-quality telehealth and online therapy across Australia. You'll drive clinical excellence, support operational performance, foster a positive team culture, and play a key role in the growth of our expanding service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor and support a remote, client-centred team of Occupational Therapists
  • Oversee performance, utilisation, KPIs and clinical service delivery
  • Provide clinical and operational supervision to ensure best practice
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, training and professional development
  • Maintain a personal caseload while achieving individual KPIs
  • Ensure high-quality, goal-based OT services aligned with NDIS Practice Standards
  • Conduct quality audits and manage incidents, complaints and WHS requirements
  • Support continuous improvement, resource development and organisational growth
  • Role model Therapy Connect values and contribute to broader leadership initiatives
About You
  • AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist
  • 5+ years' experience with children, teens and/or adults
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS and disability sector
  • Demonstrated clinical leadership and mentoring capability
  • Experience delivering therapy via telehealth and/or in-person
  • Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to work effectively within a remote environment
  • WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening, and a professional home office setup
