The Role

In This Role You'll

  • Design, deploy and manage APM Databases, including:
    • Configuration
    • Backup activities and testing of backup/restore strategies
    • Monitor and maintenance activities.
    • Patching for database servers and Databases
  • Design Database Backup Processes, protocols and relevant standards.
  • Provide end to end technical database support and problem resolution.
  • Create Database management procedures.
  • Review and tune production databases
  • Coordinate and implement database patch management.
  • Coordinate database operations with Infrastructure and Development teams
Skills You'll Bring
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft SQL
    • SQL Server 2016 – 2019
    • Azure SQL and Azure Managed Instances
    • Upgrades, migrations and patching
    • On-prem to cloud-based migrations
    • Replication and encryption
    • Performance tuning and investigation
    • HA and DR technologies
  • The ability to prioritise effectively
  • Experience working with ITIL aligned processes
Certifications Highly Regarded
  • AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
  • DP-900: Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals
  • DP-300 Azure Database Administrator Associate
