Exciting Opportunity for Aspiring Early Childhood Teacher

Kenrose Street Early Learning Centre (ELC) is a small, intimate 28-place long daycare located in Forster, NSW, proudly serving the Forster-Tuncurry community. We care for children aged 18 months to 5 years and operate Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:30pm.

We are seeking a motivated Early Childhood Educator (working toward Graduate Diploma / ECT) to join our passionate team. This is a unique opportunity to grow your skills and gain practical experience in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Your Role as an ECT / Educational Leader:


• Lead and inspire high-quality educational programs that foster curiosity, creativity, and learning


• Mentor and guide fellow educators in best practice approaches


• Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)


• Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards and centre policies


• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and the community


• Support individual learning and development plans for children

About You:


• Working toward or recently completed your Graduate Diploma / ECT qualification


• Passionate about early childhood education and inclusive practices


• Collaborative, reliable, and committed to supporting a nurturing learning environment
