About Us
WealthCo Advisory is a boutique financial planning firm run by four Principal Advisers, with 80 years of combined industry experience. We believe in deeply personal, goal-driven advice—not just investing. Our firm thrives on trusted referrals, long-standing relationships, and strong growth.
Our Vision for this role
Due to sustained growth and a strong influx of new clients, WealthCo Advisory is seeking a Financial Adviser to join our expanding team. This role is part of a structured adviser succession plan, with the incoming adviser taking over a well-established client base built over many years. You'll work closely with a retiring Principal Adviser over a six-month transition period, gradually assuming full responsibility for the ongoing client relationship. Our vision is for you to evolve into a key leader within the firm- contributing to strategic direction, deepening client relationships, and playing a vital role in shaping our future.
About this opportunity
- Take over an existing, high-quality client portfolio with warm handover.
- Relationship focused role with no sales targets; success and bonus is measured by the retention of existing clients, not new business acquisition.
- Receive mentorship from a Senior Adviser.
- Full support from our dedicated client services and paraplanning team.
- Clear, transparent pathway to becoming a Partner and equity owner within 3-5 years.
- Flexible work arrangements and a collaborative culture that values long-term advice.
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to engage with and influence people.
Has experience in a client-facing financial advice role, such as:
A financial adviser with several years of experience who is seeking a long-term opportunity with a firm they can grow with.
- An associate adviser who has spent significant time in client meetings alongside a senior adviser and is now ready to take the next step toward independence and building their own client base- with support and mentorship.
- Is passionate about long-term client care and committed to ongoing professional development.
- Is confident in developing and delivering comprehensive advice strategies across wealth creation, retirement planning, investments, Centrelink and more.
- Has a solid understanding of financial planning software (e.g. XPlan).
Responsibilities
- Manage and deepen relationships with existing clients.
- Independently conduct client meetings and present solutions alongside a Principal Adviser.
- Coordinate with accountants, fund managers, and other professionals for best outcomes.
- Maintain regulatory compliance and progress your CPD.
- Leverage XPlan (or equivalent) for advice documentation and paraplanning workflows.
To apply or to arrange a confidential discussion, please contact Irene Lee.
