Role Description
This is an on-site internship role for an ICT Trainee, located in Walgett, NSW. The ICT Trainee will be involved in supporting IT infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, assisting with the installation and configuration of hardware and software, and providing support to end-users. The role also includes maintaining IT documentation, participating in IT projects, and learning about various aspects of IT operations within the council.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware, and software
- Skills in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Experience or interest in installing and configuring IT systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to learn
- Relevant certification or coursework in Information Technology is a plus
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
