Project Manager

We are a well-established and fast-growing metal roofing and supplies company based in Queanbeyan, committed to providing the ACT and its surrounds with quality roofing solutions since our experience in the industry covers new installation, repairs, and maintenance of metal roofing.

We are currently looking for a Project Manager with experience to join our team. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  1. Plan, organise, direct and control projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget.
  2. Day-to-day supervision of the projects.
  3. Lining up all the necessary supplies and labour
  4. Liaise with clients on the project and give clients regular progress updates and reports.
  5. Ensure all variations and Extras are approved prior to carrying out the extra work/variation.
  6. Ensure Contract terms are met
  7. Control costs without compromising quality and safety and completing the jobs within the required timeframes.
  8. Ensure job is completed to Australian standard.
  9. Jobs allocation to Staff and Subbie.
  10. Supervision of staff on site
  11. Technical support to staff
  12. Ensure staff work productively and develop professionally
  13. Check and approve timesheets in a timely manner.
  14. Check and approve invoices where necessary and in a timely manner.
  15. Claims for invoicing

It is important that you have:

  • Experience in the construction industry with exposure to project management.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Construction Industry Workers (White Card);
  • Demonstrated planning and organisational skills to deliver successful projects on time.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills for developing and maintaining client and subcontractor relationships.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills to deliver timely client response.
  • A high level of attention to detail;
  • Have solid construction industry knowledge.
