Warehouse Assistant

Newcastle, NSW | Full-time
We're an Australian motorhome manufacturer based in Newcastle, building high-quality motorhomes that are designed to last and easy to live with. Behind every good build is a well-run warehouse, and that's where this role comes in.
We're looking for a Warehouse Assistant with manufacturing experience who enjoys organised systems, steady workflow, and supporting a production team that cares about doing things properly.
About the roleThis is a hands-on warehouse role supporting our motorhome production line in a LEAN manufacturing environment. You'll play a key part in keeping materials flowing smoothly, accurately, and on time.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Receiving, storing, and dispatching stock and materials
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and clearly labelled
- Supplying parts to the production floor to support just-in-time builds
- Managing bin locations, stock levels, and regular stocktakes
- Using our ERP system (Cin7 / DEAR) to track inventory
- Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
- Working closely with production, purchasing, and suppliers
- Identifying small improvements to make the system run better
This role suits someone who likes structure, takes ownership, and understands how a good warehouse supports quality builds.
You'll ideally have:
- At least 2 years' experience in a warehouse or manufacturing stores role
- Practical experience working in a LEAN or continuous improvement environment
- Basic understanding of 5S principles and workplace organisation
- A current LF or LO forklift licence
- Confidence using ERP systems (Cin7 / DEAR preferred)
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and manage priorities
- A safety-first mindset and pride in doing things properly
First Aid certification is helpful, but not essential (we can support you to obtain it).
Australian permanent residents are preferred for this position.
What we offer- Stable, full-time work with a growing Australian manufacturer
- A supportive, practical team where your input matters
- Clean, organised warehouse systems designed to a clear specification
- Ongoing learning and improvement opportunities
- Newcastle location with a great work-life balance
- Competitive pay based on experience
We build motorhomes with care, not shortcuts. That same mindset runs through our warehouse and production systems. If you enjoy working in a well-run environment where quality and teamwork matter, you'll fit in well here.
