Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join a dynamic team working at the cutting edge of big data and customer intelligence. Based in Perth, this is a permanent rolefor a data expert ready to take the lead on high-impact projects involving behavioral analytics, predictive modeling, and geo-location insights.

You'll be central to designing and building robust data pipelines and advanced analytics frameworks that power strategic decisions and product innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and reporting solutions using GCP tools (BigQuery, Python), ensuring reliable data flow and system performance.
  • Contribute to data science projects, including segmentation, predictive models, and recommendation systems, to drive personalized and data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop custom analytics tools and dashboardsthat translate complex user behavior and location data into actionable business insights, leveraging GIS and visualization platforms.
  • Partner with technical and business stakeholders to improve data processes, implement governance standards, and promote best practices across the organization.

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, with a strong command of Python and BigQueryfor large-scale data processing and insights generation.
  • Proven ability to lead data-driven projects or teams, guiding initiatives from initial concept through to implementation and delivery.
  • Background in media or advertising analytics(desirable).
  • Skilled in building and optimizing data pipelines, including API integrationand handling of geo-location and GIS datasets at scale.
  • Proficient in BI and data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI, and Tableau, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
