About The Role
Are you an experienced Support Worker passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and complex care needs? At Aruma, we're seeking dedicated professionals to join our Community team as champions of human rights. Part-time and Casual roles are available.

In this role, you will advocate for the rights, dignity, and equality of adults, young people, and children, ensuring they receive personalized support aligned with their unique needs and aspirations. Your expertise in managing complex behaviours and understanding PBSPs will be crucial as you implement and review tailored support plans. Building strong relationships with clients, families, and community stakeholders will be essential to promote inclusion and independence.

About You

  • 2 years' experience supporting participants with complex care needs, and Supporting participants from children, young people, and adults.
  • Passionate about human rights and driving positive change.
  • Empathetic, compassionate, and understanding of diverse experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on listening and responding to customer needs.
  • Team player, enthusiastic about collaboration and sharing best practices.
  • Willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements. NDISWC clearance, Working with Vulnerable people, Working with Children clearance, First Aid & CPR, NDIS Orientation Module
