The Role

In this dynamic role, you'll be at the heart of our content strategy—curating and scheduling compelling audio daily for the ABC listen app and ABC listen web, with a special focus on the 2025/26 summer season. You'll collaborate with editorial and product teams to highlight the quality and distinctiveness of ABC audio and video podcast content, using data-driven insights to inform decisions and uncover new growth opportunities.

Your exceptional communication skills will be well utilised as you collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that content, curation, development and growth strategies support ABC listen strategic goals.

You'll also explore and support content opportunities, technical capabilities and experiments that are best placed to extend audience reach and connection, while contributing to the broader ABC podcast and Audio on Demand strategy and commissioning.

About You

We're looking for someone with high level editorial and audio experience for live and on demand content, as well as strong knowledge of audio production benchmarks and practices.

You'll have high level AOD publishing and distribution experience, and strong competency with Core Media or a similar content management system.

With a strategic mindset, you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are passionate about representing the rich diversity of the Australian community.
