We're on the hunt for a qualified and experienced chef to join our team at the Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm Cafe at Elizabeth Town.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow the leadership of our Head Chef in all back of house operations
• Support the Head Chef through ideas and contributions to food menus
• Prepare and plate in accordance with our seasonal menus, consistently meeting high standards in quality and presentation
• Compliance with daily food preparation schedules to ensure effective production
• Daily set up and stocking of kitchen stations with necessary ingredients and supplies
• Daily pack-down and clean-up of kitchen stations
• Support the appropriate receiving, storage and rotation of food and ingredients
• Correct best-practice usage of kitchen equipment
• Support and comply with all aspects of OH&S compliance within the kitchen
• Foster strong working relationships with front of house and back of house staff

Personal Attributes

• Proven experience in a high-volume kitchen operation
• Great organisation skills
• High attention to detail and pride in work
• Appropriate and professional presentation at all times
• Great communication skills

Key Benefits

• Great annual salary and a 4-day work week (3 days off every week)
• Daytime trading and work hours 7am–5pm (no split shifts)
• Rotating 8-week roster of 4 weekends on, then 4 weekends off
