The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Following production drawings to determine materials required, dimensions and construction procedures
  • Assembling prepared components into windows and doors to form structures and fittings ready to install
  • Manage workload efficiently and meet timing requirements of products
  • Comply with QC and safety processes

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working with timber (preferably in factory environment)
  • First rate machining and craftsmanship skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instruction
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Must be physically fit to lift/carry heavy doors
