About the role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced qualified Cabinet Maker or 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year apprentice to join our team at Precision Custom Joinery Pty Ltd in Baringa, Queensland. This is a full-time position, where you will contribute to the manufacture and installation of high-quality custom joinery for both residential and commercial clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate custom kitchen cabinets, vanities, wardrobes and other joinery items
  • Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools with a high level of skill and attention to detail
  • Experience in panel saw and edge bander operation an advantage
  • Assemble and install finished joinery products on site
  • Collaborate with the design team to recommend materials, finishes and construction methods
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior cabinet makers as required

What we're looking for

  • Formal qualification in Cabinet Making or a related trade
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Cabinet Maker in a custom joinery or cabinet-making environment
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and working from precise measurements
  • Excellent hand skills and the ability to operate a range of woodworking machinery and tools
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Manual drivers licence
